Mary Mauzy, MPH, PhD
Mary, a current Colorado Springs resident, was born and raised in northern Montana. Her greatest experiment is underway: raising two amazing boys. Waste reduction is an ongoing passion. She is always happy to promote composting and waste reduction in between hiking, golfing, gardening, and whatever the latest project is.
Mary was awarded the Bausch and Lomb Science Award from Fairfield High School and gratefully attended the 2000 National Youth Science Camp as a Montana representative. She received her BS from Montana State University (Go Bobcats!) and enjoyed summers interning at the McLaughlin Research Institute in Great Falls, MT. She spent 5 years in Minnesota, earning her MPH & PhD from the University of Minnesota (Ski-U-Mah!).
